There are many opportunities for small businesses to benefit from federal stimulus funds received by Louisiana state agencies.  The purpose of this section is to provide information to companies that are interested in obtaining a contract to provide services or products to be funded by federal stimulus funds.

Stimulus funds will be used to fund construction-related projects (for drinking and waste water systems, energy efficiency projects for residential, commercial, and governmental buildings, and roads and bridges).  Stimulus funds will also be used to purchase a wide variety of supplies and equipment, much of which may be purchased at the local level.
